North Face ?

One thing every student needs for school is a bookbag. The most common bookbag is North Face. There are many reasons on why these bookbags are so famous. Hands down I would not use another bookbag besides north faces. These bags last very long. Personally I buy a new north face every two years. They can last much longer but I usually get them dirty. One fact is that North Face are made with quality in mind.
The North Face Have released many different models of their bookbags. Some are the hot shot, big shot, recon, modem, vault, and jester. Colors have also been varied over the years. There are tons of different colors of each model. Also there have different editions, one edition is the flag series. This consist of a black boookbag with red trim, and different countries flag on it. Also the name is changed for these series. I had the recon North Face from 8th grade and used it untill i got in 10 th grade. Now i am using the jester for the first year. I did enjoy the Recon much more than my jester. I paid $65.00 for my jester and $90.00 for my recon. Obviously you get what you pay for. On the recon there was a secret pocket against your back. The Jester begins to rip on the bottom, when you place it on the floor.
Prices change in model, edition, and color. The hot shot, recon, big shot, and boraleous cost about $90.00-$100.00. The vault, jester, modem, and slingshot cost from $65.00-$75.00. Some girl models have also been released. One is the pandora. I bought my sister the pandora for her birthday and it cost $40.00. If you are still rocking a jansport, i hope i convinced you go get out and buy a north face.

Almost every teen has at least one of these. One famous accessory is the New Era cap. These hats are also known as "fited's." There is a cap for ever major league baseball team, even some minor league teams. How To determine your size in these hats is by size. I personally own about 12 New Era hats.
Not only are there baseball team hats, there are also basketball, hockey, and brand New Era Hats. An interesting fact about these hats are they are the on field hats. This means in the major league the players use the exact hats. They are not made different at all. Now that is something that can make you feel like an all star. In the major leagues the players only wear two different colors of their hats. One is the home hat and one is the away hat. New Era sells custom colors of every hat. Example: If you want a Met hat, you can choose from hundreds of styles and colors.
Many people wear these hats to match with a pair of sneakers or an outfit. Also there is many ways to wear your hat. One wa is to bend the brim. I think that hat looks better with a bent brim. However some people feel the brim should be left straight and look like a duck. After all it is a baseball hat. On the field do you see them playing with a straight brim ? no. Hats are bent to keep the sun out of your eyes. Normal sizes sold are 7-8. i wear a size 7 1/4. My classmate Alberto wears a size 7 3/8.

Adidas Track Jackets

Being in high school you notice different fashion. One of the most recent updates to almost everyone closet in the Adidas track jacket. The jacket can mostly be described as a black jacket with three white lines going down the side. Honestly to me the material looks extremely uncomfortable. I see nothing special in these jackets. I think the only way this trend could have started is if a celebrity wore this jacket.

The Most spotted color Adidas jacket is black and white. However there have been many other colors released. Some of these colors include red and white, blue and white, yellow and white, gray and white, and many more. To keep things interesting some limited edition or rare jackets can be found through Adidas.com. A few rare jackets are the Star Wars superstar track top, the South Africa track top, the Sports Vintage track top, and the Italy track top. Last I herd Adidas track jackets were around in the late 80's. Here is a photo of Rev Run wearing a black and white Adidas track suite. Rev Run is known as a Old School Hip Hop artist. Run even has a song titled, "My Adidas." Maybe it is a big movement to wear retro clothes, or maybe some kid didn't have a jacket so he wore his dads Adidas track jacket and said its cool to everyone else. That's what I call a true leader. 

Most trends come and go. If you want the Adidas trend to last go out and buy a Track jacket. I think the current black and white track jackets will not see the light of day in September 2010. I have my feelings but if you want to join the movement, go crazy. Most High Schoolers have already put their Adidas track jacket to rest. but they should R.I.P.

Gucci, Prada, Burberry

It seems that after each year new styles come in. That is certain with 2010. Every where you go you can see someone wearing Gucci, Prada, and Burberry. These are all expensive Italian designers. Being in high school is where you will notice these brands. I never knew it was cool to wear cargo pants, or jeans with dress shoes. However everyone who wears these brands do not only wear shoes. I have seen everything Prada from shoes to skully hats.

I want to know who started this trend. Many people are influenced by the type of music they listen to. Some rappers wear Gucci like, Soulja Boy, Kanye West, Juelz Santana, and Gucci Mane. I think most celebrities can afford to wear these clothes but i have to think twice when kids wear them. Some people buy fake products then try to show them off. You should know if your buying fakes. First off if you buying a product such as Prada shoes, and they say made in china, they are fake. Another way to spot a fake is the price. The Prada shoes almost everyone has in school are the Sport Shoes. Most Prada sport shoes, cost about $345.00. If you are buying a pair for $150.00, and find out that they are fakes I would not be surprised. The Most common way to spot a pair or fake Prada shoes is to count the logos. There should be 5 Prada words on it. One on the Heel, One on the bottom of the shoe, one on the tongue, one on the sole, and one when you remove the sole. If someone is plannning to purchase a pair i suggest you buy them from Prada.com

My out take on Burberry is positive. They make good quality products. I personally own a pair of Prada sport shoes and own a Burberry tie. The only way I would get Gucci shoes if I had spare money or I wold choose to get them as a gift.

History of Air Jordans

Without a doubt the most popular sneaker ever made is the Air Jordan. The Best basketball player ever Michael Jordan, started the brand. The first Jordan's released were the Air Jordan 1's, released in 1985. Originally the sneakers were made and produced by the Nike brand. Now the sneakers are made by the Jordan Brand. You can buy the same sneakers that Michael Jordan wore on the basketball court. There has not been a year where less than 10 Air Jordan's were released.

There are two ways to classify Air Jordan's. Retro and OG. The OG Jordan's were worn by Michael and released during his time of basketball. Retro's were similar to the OG's but updated. It is obvious that it is harder to get your hands on a pair of OG's, and more expensive. Collectors (sneaker heads) buy, sell, and trade to get new pairs of OG's or Retro's. Michael Jordan wore the number 23 on his jersey. He has also numbered his signature sneakers numbers 1-23, But it does not stop there. There has also been a line of team Jordans. These were released for basketball. Almost all numbered Jordans are not worn for basketball, but for fashion. To keep market alive each numbered Jordans have been released in many color ways. The OG 11's are called concord 11's, but there were also pink sneak skin 11's, cool gray 11's, Space Jam 11's, DMP 11's and many more. Along with numbered Jordans are 6 rings, Spizikes, and 2010's. The 6 Rings are a combination of all 6 sneakers Michael Jordan was wearing when he won all of his 6 championships with the Chicago Bulls. The Spizikes were mad for Spike Lee. Spike Lee mad a movie where his name was Mars Blackmon, a crazy Michael jordan fan.
